Book series and journals

The Centre for Gender Research has a book series, Crossroads of Knowledge, which publishes books with a gender focus. The Centre is also the editorial base for two scientific journals: Tidskrift för genusvetenskap and lambda nordica. To read more about the bookseries and journals, click on the links below. 

Book series: Crossroads of Knowledge

The book series Crossroads of Knowledge has existed since 2003. The English-language books  in the series are published by the international publisher SPRINGER since 2013. Our Swedish-language books are published by the Swedish book publisher MAKADAM.

Tidskrift för genusvetenskap

Tidskrift för genusvetenskap (TGV) was established in Lund in 1980. TGV is one the largest peer-reviewed journal for current interdisciplinary gender research in the Nordic region. 

The editoral base for TGV changes every four years but is always tied to different universities in Sweden. Since the turn of the year 2017/18 the editorial base for TGV is at the Centre for Gender Research at Uppsala University. Editors are Karin S. Lindelöf and Camilla Flodin

lambda nordica

lambda nordica is a Nordic, peer-reviewed scientific journal that presents research from a humanities and social science perspective on topics relating to lesbian/gay/bi/trans and queer studies. It is the oldest and only scientific journal specifically focused on LGBTQ research in the Nordic region and has, since 1989, been an active and important part of the growing field of LGBTQ research in Sweden. The journal is published with support from Torsten Amundsson's fund and the Swedish Research Council. 

lambda nordica has had its editorial base at the Centre for Gender Research since 2016. Editors in chief are Jenny Björklund and Ulrika Dahl. Book editor is Ann-Sofie Lönngren.
